Finance Committee

Reviews, investigates and recommends Council action in all fiscal matters before Council. This includes budgets, appropriations, taxes, assessments, employee wages and relations, expenditures and general monetary policy. This Committee also investigates grant opportunities and performs other special assignments. Click here for meeting dates.

Service Committee

Reviews, investigates and recommends Council action in all matters before Council relating to streets, storm sewers, recreational facilities, beautification, public parklands, buildings, health and performs other special assignments. Click here for meeting dates.

Safety Committee

Reviews, investigates and recommends Council action in all matters before Council relating to public buildings, traffic safety, police protection, fire protection, civil defense, building code and inspection, and performs other special assignments. Click here for meeting dates.

Public Utilities Committee

Reviews, investigates and recommends Council action in all matters before Council relating to public utilities. This includes, but is not limited to, sanitary sewers, Ohio Edison Electric Company, Del Co Water Company and Ameritech Telephone Company. This Committee works closely with the Village Administrator. Rules Committee

Any resolution to amend the Rules of Council must be referred to the Rules Committee where it is to be considered immediately, taking precedence over any other business before the committee, and the committee must make a report on the resolution to amend any rule(s) at the next regular session of Council following its introduction. This Committee is required to meet at least once each year to review the standing Rules of Council. The authority of this Committee includes, but is not limited to, reviewing, investigating and recommending council action in areas involving eligibility for office and conflicts of interest. This Committee is also required to review, investigate and recommend council approval or disapproval of all candidates recommended to fill vacancies for positions on Village Council or any of the Village’s Boards or Committees.
